Orienteering recount

Every Wednesday we have kiwi sport . Leon explained that we had 4 courses. There were not enough maps or papers for everyone so we had to get into pears the person I was with was oalii she is my cousin, when everyone had a partner we lined up outside the Maori class. Then got 1 map we either had the map with the 1st course 2nd course 3rd course or 4th course, oalii and I got the 4th course , the map had arrows on it the arrows had to face north or it wouldn't work.

We had to follow the map find a clipper and clip our paper. Then when all the papers were clipped we had to run back to Leon and get a different map and paper then clip a different paper. We kept  going and going until we finished clipping all of the papers and followed all of the maps.

When we were finished we had to line up outside our classroom and give our papers and maps back to Leon and Irene. Then we had to take our shoes off because our shoes were muddy. Then go inside and write a recount about what we had to do.

tamarereti

The lake is very com and . Tonight the sky is very dark.
There is a very scaly creature in the lake we call this creature a taniwha. The people were in great danger because the taniwha had appeared in the lake.
One morning tamarereti woke up.  He woke up to a very bright sun.

Tamarereti went into a waka to get some food. He caught some fishes from the sea.
There was no more wind and Tamarereti couldn’t get home.  He took a nape to wait for the wind to return.
he cooked the fish so he can eat it after. As it was cooking he saw pebbles so he grabbed it.
Tamarereti put the pebbles in the waka.
As the pebbles were in his hand he threw it in the sky.
When it was in the sky it made light the showed him the way to the village.
